Quote of the Day

I like to start my day on a positive note. Reading a
positive quote and having a thoughtful discussion with a group of kids is my
ideal way to start the school day.

I cut and separate 180 positive quote slips, one for each
day of the school year. Then I cut apart cards so that if a certain quote really
meant a lot to a student, they could write it down and treasure it.

Then, one by one, I fold the quotes and put them in a cute
container.

Every morning, I pick a quote read it to my group and talk
about how we can apply the quote to our lives. I leave the memory slips right next to the container so that students can take them as needed. 

It really is an awesome way to start the day.
